The fruit of many development years, the software platform Adelie
Linux offers an unmatched performance, integrated tools and an easy
administration which all managers will appreciate.
The Adelie Linux series is composed of three highly inter-related modules:
Here is a video presentation made at Expo TI Performance 2005 by Jean-François Richard, High Performance Computing analyst.

Adelie for Single System Image enables adaptation of the very flexible and powerful Gentoo Linux distribution for the use in single image systems.
The module for Single Image System then makes the integration of
numerous systems possible, in the way that the data resources link by
Adelie/SSI appear as a unique workstation for the user.
Adelie/SSI maximises simplicity not only in the use of parallel data
resources (stations network, clusters), but also in the administration
of these resources.
On standard plateforms, Adelie/SSI harmonizes the use of Ganglia,
DHCP, NFS, NIS/YP, Torque, TFTP, Syslog, OpenSSH, NTP, and is
extendable and easily adapted to your specific needs.
The Adelie Linux module for High Performance Computing merges tools for optimized parallel treatment and configured for clusters operating Adelie Linux.
The Adelie module for System Administration Resources
is an ensemble of applications and user tools to simplify and
facilitate
computing clusters management. Thanks to certain tools in Adelie/SAR,
services can be retained from the Network Operation Centre of
Cyberlogic to facilitate management of a cluster or access experts in
High Performance Computing for a continued support in computing cluster
operations.
